Author Xu Xi to Explore Multilingual Heritage at Book Fair
20 July 2010 – Hong Kong author Xu Xi says the HKTDC Hong Kong Book Fair, which opens tomorrow, will be an important event because it will allow writers to connect with readers who consume literature in multiple languages. “Any book fair is important for any place in the world – and Hong Kong especially. I think it’s important that we don’t lose sight of something other than commerce,” the author said in an interview with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).

30 June 2010 – Critically acclaimed historian Andrew Roberts will be among the international line-up of authors in Hong Kong for the 21st edition of the HKTDC Hong Kong Book Fair, 21-27 July. Mr Roberts, who recently signed a contract to write a biography of Napoleon Bonaparte, will talk about his approach to research and writing at the Book Fair.

HKTDC Hong Kong Book Fair Roadshow – Taiwan leg
(26 June 2010) To further promote HKTDC Hong Kong Book Fair, which will be held from 21-27 July 2010, HKTDC arranged a series of roadshows on the Chinese mainland (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen) and Taiwan in May-June, with the support of Yazhou Zhoukan and Book4You magazine.
